Some doors have visible openings along the top edge when the door is open. Others have access slots underneath. Certain models require the removal of a decorative panel, while some manufacturers recommend taking the door apart according to specific instructions.
Do not force a tool through a gap that appears sealed. Avoid loosening screws unless the manual clearly explains which ones are safe to remove. Some screws hold the glass, hinges, or door frame together, and removing the wrong fastener can make the door unstable.
If the oven is still covered by a warranty, unauthorized disassembly may affect that coverage. When the construction is unclear, it is safer to clean only the accessible surfaces or contact the manufacturer.

A flexible bottle brush, long silicone spatula, flat plastic ruler, or purpose-made vent-cleaning wand can work well. The tool must be narrow enough to enter the access opening without scratching the glass or damaging the frame.
Avoid bare metal coat hangers, knives, screwdrivers, barbecue skewers, or anything with a sharp point. Metal can scratch tempered glass, tear insulation, damage a seal, or become stuck inside the door.
